How you can help

Volunteering
Voluntary help is always needed for many of our services including befriending, advocacy and care and social clubs.

Volunteering can be very worthwhile and satisfying if you have time on your hands that you wish to fill.

Also we are grateful for volunteer
drivers in both Cornwall and Devon areas for our hospital car service and mini buses.
Without the help of volunteer car drivers many people would simply not be able to go out at all.

Training is given for both cars and mini buses and we pay your mileage, should this be of
interest to you please contact us for details of how to apply.

Donations
A small amount donated by you each month adds up to a valuable contribution over a period of time that is controlled by you, or you may care to give a donation in memory of a loved one perhaps to a specific project that you are interested in.

Legacy
A bequest in your will, or the residue after providing for your family and friends could make a real difference in supporting our work for older people. Do please make sure you use the name Age Concern Cornwall in any bequest.

Fund Raising
We are always grateful to organisations and individuals who raise funds for us by holding events such as coffee mornings, fashion shows, fun runs or walks. Our Motovation appeal was launched in 2007 to raise funds to replace our aging fleet of minibuses constantly in use throughout the county. The aim is to provide smaller, accessible and more economical vehicles for individuals and small groups to access. Any help required with fundraising, including publicity and administration is available.
